“From very early on, Karen demonstrated her empathy, understanding and support in our conversations which made me feel very welcome to the coaching process. In our chemistry sessions, Karen put me into a holding environment which gave me the chance to explore what I would like to gain from being coached by Karen. Her calm and friendly nature made it very easy for me to trust her and the process for which I have signed up.
Being coached by Karen helped me to understand myself better and supported me in achieving my goals that I had set for myself. To me, Karen was not only a coach but also an accountability partner which helped the coaching process even more. Sometimes I felt stupid with the questions or topics I had in mind, because I thought I am going astray, but Karen always reassured me that I can say anything I like without being judged for it. That helped me to open up to Karen and share my personal insights with her. However, Karen also made sure I understood the limitations of coaching and the boundaries that were in place to make a distinction between other professional services like counselling and therapy.
